Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Service Job Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our plumbing service operations by coordinating schedules, managing customer requests, and ensuring effective communication between customers and field technicians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer and direct incoming service calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of technicians’ time and resources.
• Maintain and manage the service calendar, updating job status and technician availability as needed.
• Accurately match required parts and materials to scheduled jobs.
• Serve as a communication liaison between customers and plumbers, ensuring timely updates and efficient resolution of service needs.
• Document service details and job notes accurately in company systems.
• Support administrative functions related to service operations as required.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a customer service, dispatch, or service coordination role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and field personnel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with QuickBooks and ServiceTitan is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
