About the Position
Pinnacle Infotech is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems for complex building projects including hospitals, educational institutions, data centers, airports, stadiums, and industrial buildings. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM processes and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities include
Electrical System Design: Lead electrical design for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications. Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and other electrical engineering assessments.
Technological Aptitude: Develop and review electrical models, drawings, and documentation using BIM tools with potential to learn new platforms.
Project Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems into building designs.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to US and India Production teams. Stay updated on industry advancements, codes, and best practices.
Sustainability: Ensure designs meet energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
QA/QC & Technical Reviews: Reviewing electrical designs for accuracy and constructability. Identify alternatives when necessary.
Business Development Augmentation: Support Business Development efforts through various activities including representing Pinnacle at industry events, client site visits, participating in media content, networking with target clients within your discipline.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one US state.
5+ years experience in electrical design, preferably within the AEC industry.
Familiarity with BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
Experience applying NEC, IBC, and other relevant codes and standards.
Experience with data centers, hospitals, or other complex facilities is a plus.
$150K - $190K / hour
