About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our offshore container depot repair team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing structural welding and metalwork repairs on damaged intermodal containers or modified to ensure they meet quality and IICL standards. This role is essential to ensuring container integrity, safety, and compliance with offshore logistics and shipping operations.
Required Skills
Perform welding repairs (MIG, TIG, arc) on steel and aluminum container units, frames, doors, floors, and corner castings.se cutting torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools to remove damaged parts and prepare surfaces for welding. Maintain a clean and organized welding bay and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Maintain logs of work performed and complete repair documentation for reporting and auditing.Proficiency in SMAW (stick), FCAW (flux core), and MIG welding techniques. Ability to pass an on-site welding test
