BDC is seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Laborer to assist with residential custom home construction and remodeling projects. This hands-on position supports multiple phases of construction, including demolition, framing, finish work, site preparation, and punch list completion. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works safely, and contributes to a productive jobsite.

Responsibilities

·   Perform general construction labor on custom home and renovation projects.

·   Assist with demolition, site preparation, and material handling.

·   Complete framing, blocking, trim, siding, and other carpentry-related tasks.

·   Install doors, windows, cabinets, hardware, and fixtures as directed.

·   Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

·   Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.

·   Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.

·   Identify and report jobsite issues to supervisors.

·   Assist subcontractors and other crew members when needed.

·   Complete punch list items and final project details.

·   Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

·   Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members.

Qualifications

·   3+ years of residential construction experience preferred.

·   Valid driver’s license with 3 years of driving experience preferred.

·   Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.

·   Ability to read and follow plans, drawings, and work orders.

·   Experience with framing, trim carpentry, remodeling, or general construction.

·   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·   Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

·   Reliable transportation.

·   Ability to pass background checks as required.

Physical Requirements

·   Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.

·   Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

·   Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
