An exciting new start-up in Northeast Houston, focused on the manufacturing of precast concrete products, is currently seeking proven Process Technicians, who will be responsible for building and setting forms, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete, and other duties to ensure top-quality customer product. Responsibilities • Perform all work adhering to OSHA and company safety policies • Build and set up precast forms • Pour, reinforce, spread and smooth concrete using necessary methods/tools • Measure, level product to ensure it meets customer specifications • Complete tasks/projects according to specified deadlines • Required to perform consistent lifting and work in a fast-paced environment • Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements • Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, quarries, or heavy manufacturing • Experience in Precast Concrete manufacturing strongly preferred • OSHA or other relevant safety certifications • High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions • Problem solving • Ability to utilize appropriate PPE as needed • Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Working Conditions and Physical Effort Work is normally performed in an interior manufacturing facility. There is moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
